At Japan Travel Pros, we’ve been living and traveling in Japan for decades. Back in the day, few signs were in English, the yen was exorbitantly expensive, and in general Japan once seemed like a foreign and inaccessible place. Fast forward to the present time, and Japan is one of the most sought-after global travel destinations. Prices are reasonable if not downright cheap, and English is more prevalent. And yet, many tourists continue to visit the same “Golden Route” of Tokyo, Kyoto & Osaka (and largely doing the same things as everyone else once there).
That’s why we started Japan Travel Pros. Combining our collective experience and skills in travel planning, booking, logistics, education & guiding, we formed a team of passionate travel experts who are dedicated to serving visitors as the travel planners for your Japan trip. We’ve worked for some of the biggest names in the travel business, including front-line service & support. We recommend starting your planning process at least 6-8 months in advance, especially if you're traveling to Japan during peak seasons (cherry blossom season or autumn). This allows ample time to secure the best accommodations and make reservations for popular experiences. However, we work with clients on a variety of timelines.

We offer consulting sessions, at $79 for a 25-minute itinerary review, or $129 for a Japan travel strategy session. (prices are in USD)
We also offer a full itinerary planning package, which includes multiple zoom calls, in-depth planning and collaboration, and a detailed itinerary delivered to you (PDF, browser & app versions). Prices for the full itinerary planning package start at $995 (USD). The quote for the itinerary planning service is based on the amount of time it will take for us to research, curate, plan and create your Japan travel itinerary.
