Frequently Asked Questions
What is Japan Travel Pros?
Japan Travel Pros is a professional travel service helping people plan their trips to Japan; book accommodations, tours & experiences; and receive support & guidance while in Japan.
What is the pre-travel education & guidance?
After the planning & logistics are underway, and prior to departure day, our clients have found it helpful to learn more about Japan, its culture and language, the do’s and don’ts, tips & tricks, etc. Of course, it all depends on how much time you have and want to put in. But even the bare minimum on the language side, for example, goes a long way here and is much appreciated by Japanese people when visitors make the effort.
How does the virtual host/guide service work?
These days, nearly all travelers have a data plan, SIM card and/or or wifi access while in Japan. That’s really all you need to participate in the virtual host/guide service. Before arrival, you can decide on a time at which we’ll have briefings/Q&A every day. This is a 20-30 session where we talk about what you saw and experienced that day; what’s on the schedule for the next day; as well as addressing any questions or concerns you may have. Need to make a change to the briefing times after you’re here? No worries, we’ll do our best to accommodate your wishes. In addition, we also offer live chat support. We’re here to answer questions, handle requests for tickets or reservations, make itinerary changes on the fly, etc.
What are your prices?
You may have noticed that we don’t list our prices here on the website. That’s because Japan Travel Pros isn’t a cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all product. Our number one goal is to provide the best service possible to a discerning travel clientele. As such, we don’t compete on price. Instead, we deliver a premium product in the form of expert travel planning and support. After our initial conversation, asking the right questions and listening to your travel dreams and goals, we’ll give you a price quote. This quote is based on a number of factors, the biggest of which being the number of days/weeks you’ll be in Japan.
